About The Education in Palliative and End-of-Life Care (EPEC) Program
The Education in Palliative and End-of-Life Care (EPEC) Program provides healthcare professionals with essential competencies in palliative and end-of-life care.
The curriculum emphasizes foundational skills in communication, ethical decision-making, psychosocial considerations, and pain management. The program is delivered to thousands of clinicians annually across the United States and in more than 25 countries worldwide.
This program spans two consecutive days at the National Black Nurses Association annual conference:
- Wednesday, July 29, 2026, 7 a.m.–3 p.m. CDT (8 a.m.–4 p.m. EDT / 5 a.m.–1 p.m. PDT)
- Thursday, July 30, 2026, 12 p.m.—2 p.m. CDT (1 p.m.–3 p.m. EDT / 10 a.m.–12 p.m. PDT)
Participants may earn 8.5 CE/CME credits upon completion of the program.
